A little bit about Bruno Mars
Bruno Mars is an American singer and songwriter who is known best for his songs. As well as being a member of the Hooligans, he is also a musician. Mars grew up in Hawaii before moving to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a career in music. Co-founding The Smizzington in 2009, he produced hit singles for Mars and others. In 2010, he achieved fame with the hits “Nothin’ On You” by B.O.B and “Billionaires” by Travie McCoy. A debut studio album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, was also released by Mars. Among the number one singles were “Just the Way You Are,” “Grenade,” and “The Lazy Song.”
Even though this was one of my simpler Halloween costumes, I enjoyed searching the internet for a silk shirt that looked like Versace without costing as much and gold jewelry that wouldn’t irritate my skin. In addition, I would be dressing as a man for the first time.
My shirt, sunglasses, and gold chains were all purchased on Amazon. I got the iconic XXIV hat on Taobao, the Chinese Amazon, where you can buy anything, including cleaning services. In addition to my gold rings and necklaces, I added a chain from a Tory Burch bag. I was transformed into a “dangerous man with money in his pocket…keep up.” wearing black pants and white kicks.
My huge head would not fit inside any cap without sliding off, so I bought a curly wig and was hoping to trim and sew it to my hat.
