The story of Sid and Nancy
Sid and Nancy are based on bassist Sid Vicious and singer Nancy Spungen of Sex Pistols.
Gary Oldman played the role of Sid. As well as her roles in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Darkest Hour, The Dark Knight, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Oldman is also known for her roles in Darkest Hour and The Dark Knight.

This film is a 1986 British biographical film starring Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb and directed by Alex Cox. The film was also known as Sid and Nancy: Love Killed and starred Abbe Wool and Alex Cox. It depicts the life of Sid Vicious, the bass player of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols, and his destructive relationship with his girlfriend Nancy Spungen. A supporting performance from David Hayman, Xander Berkeley, and Courtney Love is also featured in the film.
The film premiered at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival and was later released theatrically in the United States. Though most critics did not receive the film positively, it developed a cult following and was able to recoup its production budget at the box office.
